Great service. My 2017 Ford Explorer had the torque steer problem for years. I went to multiple dealers and none of the could diagnose or fix it. South Street correctly diagnosed the problem has been caused by bad motor mounts and fixed the problem. In addition, it has plenty of loaner cars. I highly recommend this place.

I dropped my car off there today and I just have to say I haven't received this level of customer service in a really long time. Jake was very knowledgeable and professional. The office staff was polite and greeted me as soon as I walked into the door. I dropped off the car and was given a loaner vehicle as well, this is a great company! Thank you JAKE! -Robert Billinger

We HIGHLY recommend South Street for your auto repair. Once they did the diagnostic tests Drake called us to let us know what needed to be done and the price. Their was another thing my husband asked if they would check. They did and we had them clean the throttle body. We have brought our van here 3 times and trust them thoroughly. Thanks to everyone at South Street for taking good care of your customers! Thanks again Drake. Also the loaner car is GREAT for one car families!

Please don't fall for their reviews. This place is a total scam, scam, scam. They don't have honest people working there. Someone should report them to Michigan Attorney general and complain about them. They are out there to steal people's money. I was able to fix my car problem at 40% less cost at another reputable place and with quality parts and labor.

I wasted $69 for an estimate that was not even worth it. I have been to many other places and they don't charge for an estimate. Beware, Beware! Don't go to them. Put them out of business!

I originally called South Street to see if they worked on VW/TDI's and if they could give a second opinion about an oil leak that was diagnosed at the dealer. Staff took the time to answer my questions on the phone and offered to have bring my car in a couple days later. Ended up making an online appointment 2 weeks later and called the day before asking if it was possible to still get a loaner and were great about saying if I come the night before my scheduled appointment I could get one.

They weren't able to get it in for the original date but called early afternoon and gave plenty of notice they we're working on another project that was running behind and wouldn't be until the next day I would get a diagnosis Called the next day and gave me a detailed estimate for the repair and after giving me the estimate told me I needed a night to think it over and figure out what I wanted to do.

They didn't pressure or harass me about making a quick decision, pulled the trigger and throughout the repair called to give updates when the parts arrived and ETA for when it would be finished. I will be bringing my car here for more oil changes and repairs in the future, have definitely earned my business.

I have taken both my husband's and my car multiple times for regular maintenance with great customer service and reasonable price. I recently got in a car accident and needed my car fixed asap. They got me in the same day and had it fixed quickly. We were called with updates and quoting was thoroughly explained. Overall great experience!

After going to South Street Auto this month based on a recommendation from a friend, I am very happy with that first experience. I had a fairly extensive set of maintenance work that I needed, and everything was completed properly and at a reasonable price. Service advisor, Brian, did a great job of providing initial estimate and then following up with some astute suggestions.

Unlike many places, I knew all the relevant details in advance of work to be performed, the time to complete, and an accurate estimate of price. The place is well-organized and efficient, with a wonderful staff. I really couldn't be more satisfied, and will definitely be back as a repeat customer.

I needed brakes and my Jeep was in and out in under 24 hours and they gave me a free loaner car! They are super friendly, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Excellent customer service! I would highly recommend them for any service your vehicle might need.

Great service, but maybe not for every vehicle out there. I dealt with Jake who was very professional throughout the experience. Some background: I have a 2004 Land Rover Discovery. These vehicles have a tendency to be difficult, but the problem of what I thought was an Exhaust Manifold/Gasket leak was diagnosed as an EGR tube. This ultimately meant spending less money, so I was generally happy.

The wrong part was originally ordered, but South Street didn't flinch and ordered another part, so it was really only the inconvenience of bringing the car back again. Eventually, the right part came in and was installed. Unfortunately, after a week + of having this part installed, I can tell you that this part was not the culprit. I think the new part may have helped a rough idle, so not a complete loss, but definitely didn't address the leak which is causing the majority of the noise.

As a result, I was in a similar position as how I started. Otherwise, new brakes were installed and those appear to be working well. Again, I think that they are professional, and would go back for more straightforward fixes, but I will go elsewhere for a diagnosis.

I'm not a review poster, but, this particular business has great fundamentals that I'd like to promote. Customer service is very, very good and their mechanics always get to the heart of the problem. None of that, I get the car back and the same problem exists. They explain the issue thoroughly and have always gotten it right the first time. Cost is fair and I've never had any follow up issues.

I've had several maintenance calls with South Street and have found their performance to be consistent. I bring my car to them for maintenance exclusively now. I would recommend without hesitation and I can't say that about most business's in general.
