I am very pleased with the work that has been done on my car. I have been going to Sunoco for awhile now and had a very good experience with them, they are very honest, friendly and reasonable. When I first move here I was nervous and couldn't figure out where I would bring my car. I no longer am, I get all my oil changes and repairs done there and now I consider them to be the place I will alway use for my needs and car repairs.

Always took both my car and husbands here for most of the work to our vehicles. Mark was fantastic always honest and fair. Took car here for oil change recently and learned Mark is no longer there. I now understand why the two previous attempts to bring car there was so hard switching management of a business there is always a few kinks. My issue was not with the oil change or the fact that I had to make appointment was more surprised that they told me I need new brakes and rotors as I just had them all done less then three months by the dealership so I took for a second opinion to another place and was told they are perfectly fine. Very sad I have to find another place I can trust Mark will be missed for sure.

My battery light came on, turned out my belt was loose. They tightened the belt and checked the battery and alternator. After checking everything out they did not try to up sell me any thing. They helped me get back on the road. Services: Engine repair, Battery service

My car was taken on time. In a reasonable time I was given an update and the car was returned. They always do extras such as checking the air in the tires and topping off fluids. I appreciate that very much. Being a woman I am grateful to have complete confidence in this station. I trust them completely.

I had my towed to this establishment 47 days ago when something in my front end was grinding when I turned. I talked to someone the day it was towed and said it sounded like a wheel bearing or axle joint. I heard back 3 days later and the mechanic said it looks like I need a new front differential and it had to be towed to a transmission shop. So I waited about 10 days to call back and when I did someone told me the mechanic wasn't available and he would call back. no one ever did.

This continued for a couple more weeks with about 5 more calls. Finally after 36 days the mechanic got on the phone and said they got the car back from the transmission but they found nothing wrong with the differential or transfer case. He then said he would still have to diagnose the problem and I would hear back very soon. That was 10 days ago.

So I went to the shop in person today and walked up to the mechanic on duty who told me he had no knowledge of my car. I then walked to the parking lot and my is buried behind other vehicles. With rusty brakes and a flat tire plus my doors were left unlocked. NOTHING HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED OR FIXED! 47 days! No one can answer my calls and talk to me! Completely unprofessional. I think I've been pretty patient.

My family has been a customer with Abington Sunoco for MANY years and we have also purchased a car from them! We appreciate their great work on our vehicles when we need repairs!

I am ever so grateful for the team at Sunoco on Bedford St. in Abington, Ma. I knew my car needed some attention so I made an appointment to have it looked over. Thank goodness I did. The crew worked their magic and my ride is safe and sound. They went over it with a fine tooth comb and took care of a few safety issues and right within my budget. They had to keep it an extra little bit of time due to a faulty part but I felt so valued as a customer that they took the time to double check the work. Abington Sunoco is the only place I'll take my car for oil changes, inspections, repairs and maintenance. I trust them to get the job done right and at reasonable cost, and explain things in a way that I understand. I've been working with Mark for years and he is top notch. I just recently started working with Don and he is fantastic too, providing great customer service.

I can't say enough about the professionalism and quality of work I've had done over the years! Honesty is there policy. I've sent all of my friends to them for a reason, as they put my family's safety first. Anytime I call with an issue Mark and Don put us on a priority list and always treat us with respect. This place is my go-to for all my automobile needs. I have 4 cars in my household. We depend on them for all that we do. It is nice to have this team of professionals keeping us moving. My car was jerking but I got a tow because my breaks gave up randomly. I told the guy I got the tow because of my breaks but my car was ALSO jerking can you return my car drivable he said yes he can. I get my car returned with no diagnosis, told it will run fine, and then when I drive it, it is still jerking. They talk to you like an angel on the phone but like no ones taking responsibility of a false promise, most importantly a false price.

As a single woman who never seems to find honest mechanics. these people were great! Efficient and polite! Thank you!

My family has gotten their cars repaired here for years. They are very knowledgable and will explain everything that needs to be done with your cars. They are extremely honest and care about the safety of their customers. The location kind of stinks but if you go when it's not rush hours you shouldn't have a problem. The gas is usually at a reasonable price and the staff is extremely friendly.

When they strapped my doors shut they caused scratches to both sides. I called them to see how they could fix this issue and they told me they wouldn't be doing anything and that I should contact my insurance company instead. The owner was pretty rude about this and denied any responsibility immediately. Unacceptable service.

Got a tow from these guys through AAA. I believe Chris was the driver. Very nice and helpful guy. I would recommend using them if you ever need tow service in that area. Thanks!

I had a flat tire in town and was towed to Abington Sunoco. They gave me the option when I called ahead of time of using a tire of the same size, but different brand that they had on hand, or ordering what I had and putting it on that afternoon. I opted to just use what they had in stock and they really seemed to put me as a priority - i was out in less than 15 minutes even though they were working on other cars. Great service compared to the last time I replaced a tire elsewhere and they had to keep it overnight. Thanks, guys! I can't see basic maintenance elsewhere.

I've been getting my vehicle serviced here for some years now. I feel that they are honest & fair. I wouldn't take my truck any where else. If you're looking for a place to have your vehicle serviced on the South Shore look no further. Mark the service manager is fantastic & extremely thorough.

They told me I needed items repaired. Both Sullivan tire and another auto repair shop said no, there was nothing wrong with the items. They just wanted to screw me. Watch out everybody. I will never go there again.

I had a flat tire tonight and luckily have roadside assistance with Geico. They were able to get Abington Sunoco to tow my car to a repair shop and despite the long ETA, Mike assured me he would call when he was 10 minutes away - which he did. When he arrived, the process was super simple as I just had to initial on his mobile phone and he took my key to load my car up.

I didn't ride in the tow truck because I was able to get a ride and Mike was so wonderful that he sent me a text saying my car had been dropped off at Firestone and he even sent me a picture as proof! Talk about worry-free towing! I would definitely recommend Abington Sunoco!

My alternator needed to be replaced under a AAA warranty. Mark went above and beyond to partner with AAA to get this fixed. He explained every step and got the job done extremely fast. Highly recommend and will be returning for all my service needs!

I bought my husband a jeep from Jim @ Abington Sunoco and the jeep is awesome! We have our regular maintenance there (to both our cars) and its quick & painless and they always give us a loaner car which is a huge help! We've been having our cars serviced and repaired at Abington Sunoco for over 10 years now and we are very happy with the work they do. They don't try and rip you off and they will tell you if they don't think it's worth putting any more money into your car for repairs.

Best thing about this gas station is that they discount regular, 87 octane gas on the weekends. They usually drop the price in late morning on Saturday and it stays through Sunday.

I thoroughly recommend the Abington Sunoco auto repair. I understand that nobody likes to pay a lot of money to maintain their autos but is a fact of life that as autos (like humans) age they require maintenance and repairs. I had a problem with my car that was diagnosed at another establishment and I was not happy with the quote. I took the car to Abington Sunoco to get a second quote and I am thankful that I did.

The accommodated me by making an appointment for the very next day and completed the repairs for less than 60% of the original quote. I have always found the management and staff at Abington Sunoco to be polite and reasonable. I will admit that it is difficult to hear unexpected bad news that will impact my wallet. Doctors and auto mechanics are similar in that respect.

I can't believe I'm reviewing a gas station, but on the weekends, they are known to drop their price of regular unleaded gasoline ten cents. So it's definitely a bargain! They advertise full and self service, but I've never really seen the full service pumps "open" (without cones in front of them). Nor are they open 24-hours. So if it only takes you one tank of gas a week, it's definitely worth filling up here!

I recently failed my emissions on my 2002 minivan. I wanted to find a place that was both AAA certified and also state approved emissions repair shop. Lord knows if they do not get the emissions properly corrected, it can cost unimaginable amounts of money. I didn't want to take any chances. I too my car to Abington Sunoco, and I dealt with Mark.

He was courteous, professional, and I actually just received a followup call from the station about 20 minutes ago. I don't know any other mechanics that actually call and follow up to make sure they fixed something correctly. Overall, I was very pleased, and will certainly go back there again. Oh, how this place is the biggest ripoff garage I've ever been to in my life. When I went with my mother-in-law to get her inspection sticker, the mechanic said that the break line was gone and it could never get a sticker. After receiving that shocking news he immediately pushed her to buy their car since "we'd need a new one anyway". I took the keys out of his hand and I took the car down the street to our regular mechanic (who can't afford to do stickers) to look at the car and see if it could be fixed. It could be and it only cost $90 to fix! We got a sticker at another place. Don't ever trust this place!

It's no wonder why everyone working here is so cheery. They can afford to be from what they charge. I've had a couple repairs done here and regretted them instantly. I should have trusted my instincts after the first repair. I EASILY paid 2x or 3x more than another garage would charge. I've had shops charge me double retail on parts in the past, but these guys got me for 3x and 4x retail. I'd rather take my chance trying an unknown garage than know I'd get pooched by these guys again. Live and learn. My advice? Stay away.

We just moved to the area and began to have problems with our minivan. On the recommendation of my brother, I called Abington Sunoco on Monday. They said they'd squeeze me on Tuesday, so I brought in the car and a mechanic immediately went on a ride with me to diagnose the issue. By Wednesday afternoon the repair was done (brake job and replacing a tie-rod end; not an inexpensive job anywhere) and they even agreed to deliver the car to my house because we had to juggle two kids and car seats otherwise.

They also explained everything before doing the work and gave me an estimate that was right on the money, suggested work that could be put off for a little while in order to concentrate on the immediate safety need, and were all-around pleasant to work with. Their explanatory paperwork and receipts are clear and their website is a model for other independent auto mechanics, with clearly outlined prices for routine maintenance. I would recommend them highly.
