I went to ABC after I received a recommendation from what was once T&T tire just down the street. I have been going to them for 2 decades, yes I feel old just writing that, haha. I trust them and went to ABC with high hopes. They were soooo gentle when they told me my transmission was done for. Last week, I had an emergency that brought me to town for 5 days.
I wanted to get my transmission checked before driving to Texas (with a trailer). They somehow managed to get me in right away and noticed there was a leak. They also discussed my front axel (spelling?) letting me know I still had 6 months until it became an issue. Because of the length of the drive and the fact that I was driving it alone, I figured let's just fix it!
I haven't had the opportunity to build trust with a mechanic in Austin. While there, I received heart-centered care. They listened to me talk about the challenges I was facing and the fear I felt about the drive with a trailer. They remembered my story from when I first came in (after a solo 7-month road trip). They are sooo much more than "just a mechanic." I have been respected and treated as a friend and family by everyone there especially David and Aubrey. I am so grateful and will genuinely miss these amazing humans.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality They might claim to be busy, but the honest truth is that they are lazy. No professionalism. I left my vehicle there for almost a week and they continuously claimed that my vehicle was being repaired. I would encourage you to stay away from this business. The person in office was very nice but that place is sooooooo over booked! They said if I dropped my car off right then that they may get to looking @ it a week or so later & I would have to leave my car after that for @ least 2weeks! I couldn't leave my car for @ least 3 weeks or longer as that just wasn't possible! My suggestion? Find somebody else who isn't booked out so far!

Had no idea what was wrong with my transmission, dropped the truck off expecting a diagnosis fee, the same day I get a call back saying trucks ready to be picked up. I got the voice-mail the next day and called back, the nice lady replied your truck is all ready to go it was a small few min fix so we didn't charge you. Made my day, there are good people out there, if your looking for a transmission place please check these guys out!

They are a total scam. The girl at the front is nothing more than a salesperson. She will talk the talk to get your money. The work the did on my transmission was poor at best. When I brought it back in under warranty to get something fixed the girl in the front did everything she could not to honor the warranty. They do shabby work and are there just to get over on people and make a buck. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. Absolutely a rip off.
